June Vun
I am a Music Therapist and a Neurologic Music Therapist, working with children, adolescents, and adults with a range of challenges, including learning difficulties, acquired brain injuries, autism, ADHD, emotional trauma and anxiety.
My approach is creative, flexible and collaborative, using music to focus on the โhere and nowโ experience. This may include free improvisation with musical instruments and voice, musical arrangements, singing, lyric analysis, songwriting, rhythmic playing, listening to music, and verbal reflections.
I hold a Bachelor of Music with Honours, an MSc in Music in the Community and an MSc in Music Therapy (Nordoff-Robbins). I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Association of Music Therapy (BAMT), and I am a Professional Affiliate of the Academy of Neurologic Music Therapyยฎ.
I am passionate about helping individuals discover their strengths, their inner โmusic childโ, and together, explore their emotions and personal growth through creative music-making within a safe and supportive space.
