Our roots.
Oakdale was created to close gaps in mental health provision, so people could get timely, compassionate support when they needed it most.
That started with a small group of clinicians who believed high-quality psychological care shouldn't depend on where you live or how long you can wait.
More than 10 years on, that belief still shapes everything we do. We've grown into one of the UK's leading psychology-led services, but the reason we started hasn't changed.
Our journey so far...
How it started
Oakdale began as a small group of passionate professionals with a shared vision: to make high-quality, compassionate psychological care accessible to everyone.
Where we are today
More than 10 years on, we've grown into one of the UK's leading psychology-led services, trusted by individuals, families and organisations nationwide.
The Oakdale standard
Our clinicians are hand-picked for their clinical expertise, warmth and professionalism. Every client receives the highest standard of care.
Highest of standards
We're proud to offer specialist neurodevelopmental assessments, our adoption and trauma service, therapies for anxiety, depression and emotional wellbeing, eating and weight support, and workplace wellbeing services.
Clinical excellence and genuine compassion. That's what Oakdale has always been built on.
What we've built.
Over the decades, we've expanded our services to meet the needs of the people and communities we support. Today, Oakdale offers:
Specialist neurodevelopmental assessments for ADHD and autism for children, young people and adults
Adoption and trauma support for children and families affected by early adversity and attachment difficulties
Therapies for anxiety, depression, trauma and emotional wellbeing
NHS Talking Therapies and commissioned services
Eating and weight support services
Workplace wellbeing programmes
Each service has been shaped by clinical evidence, honest feedback from the people we support, and a relentless focus on what actually makes a difference.
Guided by clinical excellence.
