Rosie Driffill

Psychotherapist

I am a BACP-accredited integrative psychotherapist, with a humanistic core. This means that while I might draw on different theories and perspectives, the process I aim to facilitate is one of supporting you to reconnect with your inherent capabilities and become more β€˜whole. My practice is trauma and attachment informed, which means that - if I have your trust - we might be curious about your early relationships and adverse life experiences, viewing them through a compassionate lens and together figuring out how they might be informing your present. First and foremost, my hope is that you feel safe with me, not judged by me, and that it is OK for you to tell me what does and doesn’t feel OK in our sessions.

I have training in, and over 10 years’ experience of working with people with challenging relationships with food, using the therapy space, and our therapeutic relationship, to help someone understand what might lie behind their difficulties around eating. Challenges with food and eating disorders often stem from deeply distressing personal and relational circumstances, so I believe that it is within a safe relationship that we can learn about ourselves, and begin to heal.

I also offer coaching sessions for families and friends who are supporting someone with disordered eating.
