Angela Regan is Oakdale’s Human Resources Director. Angelais shaping a People strategy that supports our growth while keeping our teamsand, through them, the children, young people and families we support at thecentre of every decision. She's a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD with 25 years ofHR experience, and she takes a strategic, evidence-led approach to building theculture, capability and infrastructure a growing organisation needs, withoutever losing sight of the people at the heart of it.

Before joining Oakdale, Angela spent over two decades inprivate healthcare, rising to Chief People Officer of an international group ofclinics. She holds a law degree and began her career in an employment law team,giving her a strong grounding that she's carried through ever since. Angela hassignificant experience working in regulated healthcare environments, havingnavigated compliance with bodies like the CQC and HFEA throughout her career.That experience translates naturally to Oakdale's own regulatory landscape, andshe understands the particular responsibility that comes with working inservices for children and families, the standards have to be right, but so doesthe human side of how people are recruited, trained, supported and developed.

Angela is a calm, collaborative and pragmatic leader who isapproachable and passionate about maximising the employee experience, believingthat people do their best work when they feel heard, trusted and supported. Sheis currently undertaking a qualification in executive coaching and mentoring,reflecting her belief that great HR leadership is about helping people thriveand that developing people is one of the most direct ways HR can drivelong-term organisational performance.
