Dr Jason Miller

Clinical Psychologist

I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience providing psychological support within mental health services. I am registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and also provide supervision to other psychologists and mental health professionals.

I work primarily with working-age adults experiencing difficulties such as low mood, anxiety and panic, bereavement, stress, relationship challenges, trauma, psychosis, and the psychological impact of acute or chronic medical conditions and disability.

I aim to offer a warm, non-judgemental, and collaborative space where clients feel safe to explore their concerns, recognising how difficult it can be to seek support. My approach is integrative and formulation-led, drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, EMDR, and psychodynamic and attachment-informed models, alongside systemic thinking to tailor therapy to each individual’s needs and goals.

Types of therapy IΒ offer

Emotional and Behavioural Assessments
Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) / Mindfulness
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Trauma Critical Incident
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
