Dr Jess Guilding
I am a Senior Clinical Psychologist specialising in working with individuals who have experienced early life trauma and also those who are neurodivergent. Whilst trained in a range of approaches, all of which I draw upon within my work, I have particular experience in the use of Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) informed therapy, to support parents and children to develop safety within family relationships following early life attachment and trauma disruption. I am also working towards accreditation in the use of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to support a range of presentations including anxiety and depression. I am trained in ADOS-2 which is an approved autism assessment tool and lead assessments for autism, ADHD and cognitive differences as well as trauma and attachment. In addition to direct working I have experience in supporting staff teams working in residential or supported living settings offering training, consultation and reflective practice. I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and am registered with the HCPC.
