Dr Jules Franklin
Iβm Dr Jules, a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 35 yearsβ clinical and academic experience working in mental health. I support children, young people, adults, and families with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, eating disorders, OCD, tics, phobias, sleep difficulties, and sensory sensitivities. I also have a particular interest in ADHD assessment, intervention, and coaching.
I work in a trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming way, adapting my approach to support different ways of thinking, learning, and experiencing the world. My work is holistic and collaborative, drawing on evidence-based models including EMDR, CBT, and IFS-informed practice, and shaped to ensure a good therapeutic fit.
I work closely with parents, carers, and schools to strengthen relationships and support emotional and academic wellbeing.
I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and am registered with the British Psychological Society and the Health and Care Professions Council.
I aim to make the science of psychology accessible and to support parents in seeing their child beneath the behaviour.
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship - offering time, care, and a space where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood.
