Sinead Prendergast
I am a registered Adult Nurse, with over 25 years' experience within the NHS. In 2006, I qualified as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN)-Health Visitor, and have since developed extensive experience supporting children, young people, and families across a range of community settings.
The majority of my career has been spent working within 0-19 Health Visiting Services, where I progressed into a Specialist Health Visitor role, I supported neurodevelopmental assessments, including autism assessments, and provided direct intervention and support to children and families. I have significant experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and liaising with wider services to ensure coordinated, child-centred care.
I am passionate about supporting children, young people, and their families to have a positive experience of services and achieve the best possible outcomes, with a strong focus on early intervention and holistic family support.
